Custom Made Archival Boxes

Despite the large number of standard or ready-made boxes, it is often necessary to make custom-made boxes. While boxes that are too small will press on objects or allow light and air pollutants to pass through, in too large the material will move or bend during manipulation. That is why it is necessary that the box is only slightly larger than the stored item in order to easily put it in and take it out.

Over the years, we have created many boxes that responded to the specific requests of our clients, always taking into account the quality of the material – which must have all the appropriate certificates – functionality and design.

We can offer you one-part or two-part boxes, with or without compartments, also with reinforced walls, the chosen height of the lid (to the bottom or shorter), the way of opening and all this in exact dimensions.

Valuable textile items such as chasubles, pluvials, national costumes, flags, historical military uniforms, caps and shoes, but also porcelain dishes, hunting and military weapons, audiovisual material and objects of biological origin, our boxes will provide optimal archival storage conditions that will reduce harmful influences from the environment and with its chemical composition to extend the life of a structure worth preserving for the future.

Last but not least, one should always take care of the space in which the archival boxes are placed. Modern storage requirements accumulate the cost of equipment and space maintenance: shelves, appropriate microclimate, pest monitoring, lighting… If, in addition to all this, archival boxes with dimensions that are larger than they should be, precious space is quickly reduced.

Custom-made boxes, in addition to the above, will save material for filling, the time you would spend filling gaps and reduce the possibility of damage to the structure when handling.
