The product is by its composition a polysaccharide, soluble in water, produced by fermentation process.
Gelan rubber allows for slow, controlled cleaning and can be applied to reduce dark stains created by aging paper as well as traces of water. Impurity is transferred from the object to the gel by capillary action. Also suitable for dissolving laminations or for careful application of bleaching agents and enzyme solutions.
